Most prom stores sell you a gown and send you elsewhere for everything else. Creaciones Delia, at 5178 W Pike Plaza Road on the northwest side of Indianapolis, works the other way. Its own listings describe gowns for quinceañeras, brides, damas and niñas alongside shoes, accessories, crowns, men’s suiting, invitations, decorations and party favors. Prom is one date on a calendar that runs on quinceañeras and first communions, and the shop is set up to handle the whole event rather than a single dress.

On the prom and quince side, the brands are verifiable. Creaciones Delia appears on Amarra’s own retailer locator, which means the long, beaded prom styles Amarra sells only through authorized shops can be ordered here. Mon Cheri lists the store for Colette by Daphne, its prom line, and for Princesa by Ariana Vara, its quinceañera line. Amarra prom is generally cut across a wide size range, but which styles and sizes are physically on the floor changes week to week — that is a phone call, not a website question. There is no store website on file, and the shop’s public presence is a Facebook and Instagram page written mostly in Spanish. Expect to be helped in Spanish or English.
Where this is, in Marion County terms
The address is inside Pike Plaza, the community shopping center that runs from 5046 to 5210 W Pike Plaza Road, at Pike Plaza Road and Lafayette Road. The same strip holds El Ofertazo, a flea market at 5110. Lafayette Square Mall sits next door at 3919 Lafayette Road, roughly seven miles northwest of downtown and right off I-65, so the drive in is the same one you would make for the mall.
This is the middle of the International Marketplace district, the stretch of Lafayette Road between 34th and 46th Streets and of 38th Street between High School Road and Commercial Drive. WRTV counts more than 80 restaurants and hundreds of immigrant-owned businesses in the area; local coverage of the district’s new community center on Commercial Drive puts more than 100 languages in the neighborhood. A gown fitting here sits in a trip that can also include groceries and lunch. One thing to know before you plan around it: the mall property is under a redevelopment plan from owner Sojos Capital that calls for demolishing much of the existing structure in favor of apartments, a sports facility and hotel rooms. Timelines have moved more than once. Pike Plaza is a separate center, but construction traffic on Lafayette Road is a real possibility.
Whose prom this is
Pike Township runs a single high school, Pike High School, an International Baccalaureate school whose district reports over 400 international students from 41 countries. Pike students are the closest customers here. In one recent year the school put prom at Crane Bay downtown on the last Saturday in April, tickets at $40 — central Indiana proms cluster in late April and early May, which means the useful shopping window is February and March, before quince season fills the alteration schedule.
Indianapolis is not a one-shop market. Amarra alone lists four other authorized retailers in the city: Rayito de Sol, Pretty Chicas Boutique and two XO by Sophia’s locations, including one at Keystone. If you are chasing a specific Amarra style number, it is worth calling more than one. What Creaciones Delia offers that a mall boutique does not is the rest of the party in the same visit.
