These terms govern your use of Top Prom Websites (toppromwebsites.com), a guide to prom dress shops in the United States. The site is operated by Restore Point Digital LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the site is
We publish information about independent dress shops, the designers they carry and how to shop for prom. We don't sell dresses, take orders or handle payments for any shop. When you buy from a shop, you are dealing with that shop, under its own policies.
Store information
We build store pages from public sources, including each shop's own website, designer retailer lists and published news coverage. Shops change their hours, stock, prices, policies and locations, sometimes without notice, so a page can fall out of date. Before you make a trip or a purchase, confirm the details that matter to you with the shop directly.
The site is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate, but we don't guarantee that any listing is complete, current or free of errors. A listing is not an endorsement, and we aren't responsible for a shop's products, service or policies.
If you spot a mistake, please use the Suggest an update form. Shop owners can use the same form to correct a listing or ask for it to be removed.
Designers and trademarks
Designer names, store names and logos belong to their owners. We use them to identify the shops and labels we describe. Unless a page says otherwise, Top Prom Websites is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any designer or shop it mentions.
Featured listings
Shops can pay for a featured listing, which adds their website link and other features to their store page. Featured listings are annual subscriptions billed through Stripe. Each subscription renews every year at the price shown when the shop signed up until it is canceled. A shop can cancel any time from its billing page. Canceling stops the next renewal, and the listing stays featured until the end of the year already paid for. We may decline or end a featured listing that misrepresents a business or breaks these terms.
What you send us
When you send us a correction, a store suggestion, a logo or any other content, you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You also give us permission to use, edit and publish it on the site. Please don't send anything false, misleading, abusive or someone else's private information. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for personal shopping and research, and shops may use it to manage their own listings. Please don't:
- copy, scrape or republish the site's content in bulk, or use it to build a competing guide or dataset;
- interfere with the site, overload it, or try to get into areas that aren't public;
- use the site's forms to send spam or impersonate a person or business;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
Our content
The writing, design, guides and tools on this site belong to us or the people who licensed them to us. You're welcome to link to any page and to share short quotes with a link back. Anything beyond that needs our written permission.
Links to other sites
The site links to shops, designers, maps and other outside websites. Those sites are run by others, under their own terms and privacy policies. We aren't responsible for their content or for anything you buy from them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Restore Point Digital LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your dealings with any shop it lists. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid us nothing. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
