It is work clothes, travel clothes, shoes, handbags and hats — the boutique says it holds the largest collection of hats and fascinators in Colorado, and it has done a hat segment on 9News. The prom and evening gowns sit in an evening salon that runs by appointment only.
That is the first thing to know before driving over. This is not a warehouse where you push through eight hundred dresses on a Saturday afternoon. You call (303) 623-1151, book a time, and a stylist pulls for you. The store says it buys three or fewer of any single item so looks are not repeated, and that its stylists are not on commission. For a junior who is worried about walking into the same gym in the same dress as someone else, that buying rule is the reason to consider this shop over a big-box formalwear floor.

If a specific Jovani style is the goal, the next-closest place cleared to sell it is in the south metro.

If that holds for the evening salon, budget for a tailor and the weeks that takes — ask when you book.

Denver East is a couple of miles north at City Park; South sits southwest near Washington Park; George Washington is southeast off Monaco. Straight down University Boulevard are Kent Denver and St. Mary’s Academy in Cherry Hills Village. All of them are inside a fifteen-minute drive in normal traffic, which is what makes a Cherry Creek appointment realistic on a weekday after school rather than a whole-Saturday expedition.
Metro Denver proms cluster in late April and early May.
