Hamilton Street is the spine of downtown Dalton, and the shop sits among boutiques and restaurants on it — Burr Performing Arts Park is at 101 South Hamilton, a few blocks up. That makes this a park-once errand rather than a strip-mall run. The trade area is Dalton High plus the county schools around it: Southeast Whitfield County on Riverbend Road, Coahulla Creek off Crow Road, Northwest Whitfield County out in Tunnel Hill.
The alternative, for anyone in this corner of Georgia, is Chattanooga — about half an hour north on I-75, with David’s Bridal and Ever After Bridal & Formal Wear among the options there. Nobody in Dalton is stranded. What downtown offers is not getting on the interstate, and being able to hand a rented tux back to a person you can find again.
