A family shop on East Market Street
Lilla's has been part of York's formalwear scene since 1985. Lilla opened it herself. Today her daughter Dianna and granddaughter Meghan run it, and the shop leans on that three-generation story with good reason. The name says bridal, and wedding gowns carry much of the shop's year. But the store's own description lists prom and homecoming right alongside bridal, mothers and formal, and the prom side carries real designer names. Booking a Lilla's fitting on East Market Street
Per the shop's FAQ, Lilla's runs by appointment but welcomes walk-ins. If no stylist is free when you arrive, staff will set up a time for you. Saturdays are the busy day, and the store encourages booking ahead for them. You can schedule online through the site.
Fit is handled with care. On gowns it orders in, the team measures you and orders the closest size against the designer's chart, and the shop keeps a list of trusted seamstresses in the York and Lancaster area for alterations.
