The people behind the counter
Party Girls has been dressing Bucks County since at least 1993. Wendy Moliken, the original owner, studied design at Drexel University and is still part of the staff. In January 2024, Dina Schardinger took over as owner. Her stated goal is a relaxed, fun and memorable shopping trip. Longtime staffers who know the inventory by heart fill out the team. One former preschool teacher, the site jokes, "knows everyone."
The alterations question gets answered in house. Maria Guralnyuk has been the store's seamstress for over 20 years and handles all kinds of alterations. That is a real advantage in April, when outside tailors are swamped with wedding work and a hem can't wait three weeks.
The local draw is strong. Council Rock High School South is in Holland itself, and Council Rock North is up the road in Newtown. William Tennent in Warminster, Neshaminy in Langhorne and Archbishop Wood in Warminster send shoppers here too.
