Cheron's sits in a suite on Northpoint Boulevard, on the Hixson side of Chattanooga just off Highway 153. It is a small, personal operation, and it says so. The About page describes a mom-and-daughter-owned business run by a family that lives on a small farm, homeschools, bakes sourdough and, in an earlier chapter, photographed weddings together. That background shows up in the tone of the place: it wants a fitting to feel like a visit, not a transaction.
The prom side is the easy part to get to. Walk-ins are welcome for prom, and nobody needs to phone the shop before browsing. New arrivals come in through the season, so a second look in March can turn up dresses that were not there in January.

Don't skip Cher Amour. A lot of girls who come in for prom also need something for a banquet, a sorority recruitment event or a spring wedding. The boutique rack handles the dresses that are dressy without being a full gown.
Who it serves
The north side of the county is the natural audience. Hixson High is the closest school, followed by Red Bank High, Soddy Daisy High and Signal Mountain Middle/High. For families up Highway 27, it saves a trip across the river into town. The bridal side of the business runs on separate, one-at-a-time appointments with an in-house designer and bridal packages, which is why the store has two different ways in: brides book, prom shoppers walk in.
