Check the address before you drive. Mary’s Designer Bridal Boutique spent more than four decades in the same storefront at 150 D Jennifer Road, the commercial strip next to the Annapolis mall, and in August 2025 it moved to 14 Annapolis Street. The shop was founded in 1982 by Mary Feeley. Plenty of listings still carry the Jennifer Road address and the old 410-224-1163 phone number; the store’s own site now gives 14 Annapolis Street and (410) 693-6030 for both calls and texts.
The move changes what the trip feels like. Jennifer Road sat at the mall interchange off US 50, ramps and ring roads and a parking field. Annapolis Street is the retail spine of West Annapolis, a few blocks of storefronts backing onto houses, reached off Rowe Boulevard — the short state highway that carries US 50 traffic down into downtown Annapolis. Curb parking there sits inside the city’s residential permit territory, so read the signs on the block rather than assuming a lot is waiting.
The prom side of a bridal-first shop
Three prom and pageant labels are confirmed through the designers’ own retailer locators: Jovani, La Femme and Terani. La Femme’s locator already shows the Annapolis Street address, which is a decent sign the prom stock made the move with everything else. Beyond those three, the shop’s site runs separate homecoming and quinceañera collections, mother-of-the-bride, shoes and jewelry, and it handles alterations and custom work rather than sending you elsewhere. It also states plainly that staff speak Spanish.
Worth knowing going in: this is a wedding-gown salon first, and the new space is described by the store as appointment-only, with bookings required on the bridal side. Posted hours are 10 to 6 Monday through Friday, 9 to 4 Saturday and 9 to 3 Sunday — the Sunday morning opening is unusual for a shop like this and useful if a weekday drive is hard. Call or text before you come, especially in a small storefront where fitting rooms are finite.
Who ends up here
The Anne Arundel County public high schools within a normal drive of West Annapolis include Annapolis High, Broadneck on Green Holly Drive, Severna Park, South River in Edgewater, Arundel in Gambrills and Old Mill in Millersville. St. Mary’s, the Catholic school on Duke of Gloucester Street, is a few minutes away downtown. Severna Park and Broadneck are each other’s listed rival, which means their prom shopping runs through the same short list of local salons in the spring — a reason to ask what has already sold to your school before you commit to a Jovani style everyone will recognize.
