Jewels Bridal Studio brings designer gowns close to home in a town that sits about 230 miles from Salt Lake City and close to 290 from Reno. It opened on Silver Street, introducing itself as "New to Elko," and set out to serve brides first, promising a designer gown "without having to go out of town." Then it added prom. The shop now advertises a full collection of prom dresses, and it asks students to stop by and find theirs in person.
