OFseventy did not start in Nevada. The label behind this West Charleston Boulevard boutique began south of the border, and the store tells the story in one line.
Our fashion house was founded in Mexico in 2010 and settled in Las Vegas in 2015.
The mission is collections "full of glamour, elegance and the most refined touch," with rigorous care in choosing each piece and a luxury experience in the boutique. Since 2015 the Las Vegas shop has built its floor around imported and designer collections, with a prom offering anchored by three established labels. Jovani has its own prom category alongside ball gowns, homecoming, pageant and red carpet styles. Portia and Scarlett is split into prom and pageant. Sherri Hill covers evening, cocktail and homecoming. For a student at Bonanza High School or Ed W. Clark High School, all three are on a single rack on the west side of the valley.

The Couture collection is the statement section, introduced as a collection drawing on "global inspiration" and craftsmanship from around the world. It is pageant and red-carpet territory, but a senior who wants a gown no one else at the Palo Verde High School or Western High School prom could buy on a mall rack will find it there. An International Collection adds handcrafted pieces from abroad, mostly for pageant and formal mothers' looks.
First looks and private appointments
New collections are where Of Seventy puts most of its energy.
For prom shoppers that first look is the best window to try a Jovani or Portia and Scarlett style in the color you actually want, before popular sizes go. Appointments are booked online through the store's scheduling page.
Each designer's size chart is its own, and a usual size may not match, so trying a size in person on West Charleston is the easiest way to get it right. A prom gown at this price is a serious purchase, and seeing the beadwork, the weight of the skirt and the way a corset bodice sits is easier in a fitting room. Bring someone whose opinion you trust.
Bridal has its own section of the shop. For the southern Nevada prom season, though, the draw is the three-label prom wall and the chance to see a new collection early.
