By its own count the shop has served three generations of local families. Owner Ivana Mercuri started out with a small general clothing store, Ivana's Fashions, at Market and Second streets in Pottsville, before the original owner of Juliette asked her to buy his business. "My passion was always fashion and bridal," she told WFMZ in 2022.

The new shop has a Pottsville address, though it's technically in North Manheim Township, and it fills a fully remodeled former garage at her longtime home. She even brought the tin ceiling from the downtown store. The new space is smaller and more intimate by design. At the ribbon-cutting, Pottsville's mayor summed up the room's feeling about her: "You're a legend in your business."

After the move, Mercuri told WFMZ the first prom season at the new location had been "great."
