Dreams Boutique handles both halves of a prom couple. The store’s own FAQ puts prom dresses at $99 to $799, with sizes 000–30 hanging on the floor to try on, and the same shop rents and sells tuxedos and suits. In a county where the nearest alternative is a highway drive, that is the practical point: one stop, two orders, one trip.
The address is 100 S. Main Street, in the downtown of the Richland County seat — a city of about 5,100 in the Driftless hills of southwestern Wisconsin, at the intersection of US 14 and Highway 80. The city describes itself as sitting halfway between Madison and La Crosse; by road it is roughly 60 miles east to Madison on 14.

Homecoming matters here too. The Richland Center parade steps off through downtown on a Friday afternoon in early October — in 2025 it was October 3, with the dance the next night — and the store runs a separate homecoming collection alongside prom.
Brands and what the drive replaces
Alyce Paris, Jovani and La Femme all list this store on their official retailer locators. The store’s own prom catalog also filters by Sydney’s Closet, Sydney’s Prom and Aerie Couture. Jovani’s state page notes that Madison has no Jovani retailer inside the city limits — for that label, Richland Center and Brides N Belles in Reedsburg are what covers this corner of the state.
Before you drive over
- Closed Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday 1–5, Friday 11–5, Saturday 10–4, Sunday 12–4. The Sunday afternoon window is the one worth knowing if you are coming in from the ridges.
- Prom appointments are recommended but walk-ins are taken. The $50 appointment fee applies to bridal, not prom, and it goes toward the gown.
