This is a new store. The City Menus reported in July 2025 that Delta B Formal Wear was preparing to open at 1004 Bankhead Highway, Suite B-25, specializing in prom and homecoming dresses. That matters for how you should treat it: the racks hold current-season stock rather than years of accumulated inventory, and the shop has not been around long enough for word of mouth to have settled in west Georgia the way it has for older shops in the area.
The address is First Tuesday Center, at the signalized intersection of Bankhead Highway — State Route 166 — and Northside Drive, a few minutes from downtown Carrollton. It is a community shopping center anchored by Food Depot, Planet Fitness, Farmer’s Furniture, Citi Trends and Dollar Tree, and it has been through a round of work recently: repaved parking, new exterior paint and lighting, upgraded pylon signage. The listing broker also notes direct access to Lake Carroll and a GreenBelt trailhead from the property. Thunderzone opened in the same center — bowling, duck pin lanes, golf simulators, an arcade and a bar and grill, per the Times-Georgian — so a dress-shopping trip and whatever the rest of the afternoon turns into can happen in one parking lot.

Three labels list Delta-B on their own official retailer locators, which is the strongest confirmation of what is actually on the floor:

The store’s own designer page adds Nox Anabel, Portia and Scarlett, and Juliet. It does not stock tuxedos in-house; the site points to an online rental partner instead. For a suit or tux fitting you handle in person, that is a separate errand in Carrollton.
Hours are the thing to check first
Delta-B is closed Monday and Tuesday. The published schedule runs Wednesday noon to 5, Thursday and Friday noon to 7, Saturday 10 to 6, and Sunday 3 to 7, with a note that hours shift during prom and homecoming season. If you are driving in from Bowdon, Temple or Villa Rica, that closed Monday is a wasted trip waiting to happen. Walk-ins are fine — no appointment required — but appointments can be set by phone or email, which is the safer play on a February or March Saturday. Who it serves
Carrollton is the county seat, and the trade area is essentially all of Carroll County: Carrollton High School in the city system, plus Central, Mount Zion, Bowdon, Temple and Villa Rica in the county system, spread from the Alabama line east to the I-20 exits. The University of West Georgia sits in town with more than 14,000 students enrolled, which adds sorority and organization formals to a calendar otherwise built around fall homecomings and spring proms.
Delta-B is not the only option in Carrollton. Ever After Prom and Bridal keeps a Maple Street location here alongside its store in Ranburne, Alabama. Past that, the choices thin out until you head east toward Douglasville and metro Atlanta. Two dedicated prom shops in one town of Carrollton’s size is a reason to shop both in an afternoon rather than committing to one.
