The East Water Street address still floating around directory listings is the old downtown shop. The store’s own website, its Facebook page and the retailer locators at Jovani and Faviana all give the same current address: 20 Executive Center Drive, Suite A. The shop’s Yelp profile dates the move — along with a change of ownership — to July 2020, and says the business took the She Said Yes! name back in 2008 under earlier owners.
Executive Center Drive is a short run of professional offices off Eastern Avenue; a dental practice sits a couple of doors down at number 19. The practical upside is that you are not hunting for a parking space downtown. Eastern Avenue has its own interchange where US 35 and US 50 swing around the east side of town, so from Jackson, Wellston or Athens you leave the bypass and you are there in two turns. From Circleville and points north it is US 23 south, then across town.
The schools this shop dresses
Chillicothe is a city of about 22,000 and the seat of Ross County, which runs seven public districts: Chillicothe City Schools plus Adena in Frankfort, Huntington, Paint Valley in Bainbridge, Southeastern, Union-Scioto and Zane Trace. Several of those high schools are small — Adena enrolled roughly 300 students across all four grades in 2023–24. Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center, based here, also serves Circleville, Logan Elm and Westfall, so juniors from Pickaway County are in Chillicothe on school days anyway.
In districts that size, a repeat gown gets noticed at the door. Whether this shop keeps track of which style went to which school is worth asking when you walk in; it is the standard question in a county where four schools’ proms can land within two weekends of each other.

That is a deep designer list for a town this size, and it is the reason the drive gets made from Waverly, Frankfort and Bainbridge instead of straight to Columbus.
Tuxedo rental is handled in the same store, so a couple can settle the dress and the suit in one trip. Bridal, bridesmaids, mothers’ dresses, children’s formals, pageant and accessories share the floor — this is a full-line formal shop, not a prom-only pop-up.
Going in
The distinction that matters: appointments are preferred for bridal only. Prom and homecoming shoppers walk in. Brides get a private fitting suite, which also means the bridal side of the store can be booked solid on a Saturday in peak season. Hours shift by season and the shop posts them by pinned social post rather than keeping a fixed schedule on the site, so call (740) 772-7433 before you drive.
Reviews split along a predictable line. Facebook shows several hundred recommendations at 94 percent; the smaller review sets on The Knot and Yahoo include complaints that turn on how orders and alterations were handled after the deposit, not on the selection. Ask for the timeline in writing when you order a dress that has to come in.
What else is within reach
The nearest documented alternative with a comparable prom and bridal inventory is Andrea’s Prom & Bridal on East Main Street in Jackson, family-run since 1976, roughly half an hour southeast on US 35. After that it is Columbus, about 45 miles up US 23 — a full day once you add mall parking and a fitting appointment. For most of Ross County and the northern edge of Pike County, this south central Ohio shop is the short trip.
