The address puts this shop on the stretch of Stockton Boulevard that Sacramento designated Little Saigon. The city council approved the name in 2010 for the two-mile business corridor south of Fruitridge Road to Florin Road, a district of Vietnamese restaurants, coffee shops, salons, jewelry stores, bakeries and markets. Dalia Boutique is a Spanish-language formalwear store in the middle of it: its own page introduces the boutique in Spanish before English, and the categories it lists for itself are brides, quinceañera, prom, damas and tuxedos. Two formal traditions with very different calendars, sold off the same racks.
The brands, and how thin the list is around here
Three prom labels name this store as an authorized retailer: Amarra, Ava Presley and Jessica Angel. Amarra sells prom and formal gowns exclusively through authorized boutiques rather than direct, and its California list is short. The only other Amarra store in the Sacramento area on that list is Haute House Couture in Carmichael; after that the list skips to San Rafael, Campbell, Clovis and Southern California. If a style you found online is Amarra, this is one of two places in the region that can order it.
What customers report
Public reviews are the best record of what the store actually charges. Yelp reviewers put prom dresses in the $200 to $400 range and describe alterations done free by the owner, with hemming charged separately. Reviewers also mention going in for “junior and senior ball” dresses, which is what the dance is called at most Sacramento-area schools, and at least one review notes being told a dress had to be ordered rather than bought off the floor. Ask about order lead time on your first visit rather than your third. Service reports run both ways in those same reviews — some effusive, some sharply critical of how they were greeted — so the honest summary is that experiences vary.

- Listings place the store in Suite 600, so it is a storefront in a multi-tenant building, not a freestanding shop. Look for the suite number.
- Public listings show it closed Tuesdays, open Sundays and Saturdays 11 to 5, and open into the evening Monday and Wednesday through Friday. Hours on directory sites drift; call first.
- New arrivals get posted to the store’s Facebook page, which has more than 23,000 followers — useful for seeing what is on the floor this month.
The nearest high schools are Hiram Johnson on 14th Avenue and Luther Burbank on Florin Road, both Sacramento City Unified and both around 1,600 students, with the Elk Grove Unified campuses starting just south of Florin. Highway 99 runs parallel to the west, and Fruitridge Road connects across to the boulevard. The corridor itself is in flux: the city has aimed to redevelop Stockton Boulevard as an extension of the $1.1 billion Aggie Square project expanding UC Davis Health at the boulevard’s northern end. That is several miles north of this block, but it is the reason the street looks different every couple of years.
