The shop sits in Suite F of the Watson Crossing center at 33939 LA Highway 16, on the stretch north of Denham Springs where the road turns into Walmart, Dollar Tree and driving-school signage. The Walmart Supercenter is next door at 34025 Highway 16; Dollar Tree is a few suites down in the same center. Parking is a flat lot, and the trip folds into errands people in this part of Livingston Parish already run.
One thing to know before searching for it: the name changed. It opened as K. Lanee’ Boutique in January 2024 with a mix of casual and formal clothing, and in October 2025 the owner rebranded it K. Laneeé Occasions and dropped the casual side entirely. The store’s own account of its founding says the owner spent more than six years managing another women’s boutique and took the leap when that store’s owner retired. Same phone number, same highway.
What the racks are for
Two designer accounts are confirmed through the brands’ own retailer locators: Amarra and Ava Presley. Both are long-gown, heavily beaded prom and pageant lines — the kind of dress a Live Oak or Denham Springs junior is not going to find at a chain in Baton Rouge. The store also lists Stella Couture on its site, and says it holds regional exclusivity on those labels and adds one or two new designers a year. Treat the exclusivity claim as the store’s own; the two locator-verified brands are the reliable part.
Beyond prom, the categories the store says it stocks read like a south Louisiana formal calendar rather than a national one:
- Mardi Gras ball and gala gowns — which means the busy stretch here starts in January, not in April
- Homecoming dresses, plus homecoming court suits
- Pageant gowns
- White dresses for graduation and confirmation
- Wedding-guest and bridal-party event wear (showers, rehearsal dinners, brunches) — but no bridal gowns
- Tuxedo rentals, handled through a Generation Tux partnership rather than in-house stock
The online catalog is a partial view of the floor, not all of it: 461 items listed, cocktail minis and separates in the $39–$99 range, beaded short dresses near $184, and $660 as the highest price anywhere in the catalog. Designer prom gowns generally are not posted online, so the in-store range is the one to ask about by phone.
Who drives here
Live Oak High School is at 36079 Highway 16 — the same road, a little further north, with about 1,390 students in the 2023–24 count. That proximity is the whole geographic argument for this store: a Live Oak family passes the center on the way home. Denham Springs High is south of here off the same corridor, and Walker, Doyle in Livingston, Albany, Springfield and French Settlement are all within a normal Livingston Parish drive. French Settlement High is on Highway 16 too, at the far southern end of the same route.
Locals call the road Range Avenue where it runs through Denham Springs; north of town most people just say Highway 16. It is a single spine that runs from the river parishes up through Watson toward Montpelier and Amite City, which is why a shop on it can pull from a wide band of small towns without anyone crossing into Baton Rouge traffic.
Before the drive
Two practical warnings, both from the store’s own listings. Its Facebook page still shows an older Highway 16 address, 31575, in a different suite — put 33939 in the GPS. And the posted hours differ between its social accounts, with one listing midday openings Tuesday through Friday and another listing 10 a.m. Call (225) 347-6955 and confirm before a long drive, especially in January and February when appointments and ball season compete for floor space.
