Woodbury High’s prom is at the Landmark Center in late April. Park High’s is the first Saturday in May. Raffiné’s prom season, by the store’s own reckoning, is busiest January through March, and it warns that from mid-March forward both in-stock dresses and ordering options are limited. A junior who starts looking over spring break is already shopping the leftovers. That mismatch between when the dances happen and when the dresses move is the single most useful thing to know about this shop.
The reason is in the store’s history. Raffiné is a wedding-dress business that added prom, not a prom store that dabbles in bridal, and bridal runs on six-month order times. It was founded in Stillwater in 2004. In 2009 Jamie, Jody and Kayla — a mother-and-daughters team — bought it, and on November 4, 2013 they moved it to Woodbury, where they live. Three expansions followed, and prom was one of the things they built along the way. Mpls.St.Paul Magazine has described the operation as family-owned since well before the prom floor existed.
What the prom side actually offers
Prom dresses are priced $300 to $800, in sizes 00 through 22. Woodbury News Net, covering an East Ridge student dress drive, put the average prom gown at roughly $500, which places this rack squarely around the middle rather than at either extreme.
Faviana, Sherri Hill, Alyce Paris and Ellie Wilde appear on the store’s own prom designer list. Dave & Johnny and Terani also name the shop on their retailer locators. The store notes that floor stock changes constantly, so if you found a specific style number online, call before driving out to confirm it is in the building.
Prom appointments are 60 minutes and free, and the shop asks that shoppers bring only one or two guests. Walk-ins are welcome for prom — unlike the bridal side, where appointments are required and Saturdays commonly book two weeks out. Prom 2027 stock is expected to start arriving in December 2026.
One scheduling trap: the store is closed Tuesdays and Sundays. Monday and Thursday run 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., which are the two evenings that work after a school day. Wednesday and Friday close at 5, and Saturday is 10 to 4.
Where it is, and who it draws
Suite 105 sits in Tamarack Hills, the retail-and-office cluster on Bielenberg Drive near Tamarack Road in east-metro Minnesota, within a mile of the Tamarack Village stores and reachable from both I-94 and I-494. For most of Woodbury this is a ten-minute errand rather than a trip, and Hudson, Wisconsin, is a straight run east on the interstate.
Faviana’s own retailer page names Woodbury High and East Ridge students as the shop’s core prom customers. Those are the two big public high schools in town — East Ridge opened in 2009 and enrolled just over 2,000 students in 2023–24 — and both, plus Park High in Cottage Grove, belong to South Washington County Schools. Woodbury also has Math and Science Academy and Woodbury Leadership Academy on the charter side and New Life Academy and St. Ambrose on the parochial side, and Stillwater Area High School sits a short drive north.

Work backward from those dates. Alterations take time the store does not build into the dress price, and the racks are thinnest in exactly the weeks most families start looking.
