Angie opened her doors in August 2002, and the store she built in Ridgeland now counts itself among the Top 10 Prom Stores in the U.S. The way it earns that reputation is personal attention. Walk-ins are welcome, but the store warns that wait times can be long for shoppers without a slot. In late winter, when every junior and senior in Madison County seems to be shopping at once, a reserved hour is the simplest way to guarantee the stylist's full attention.
Prom is the main event here. Angie's says it has dressed thousands of girls for prom, homecoming, cotillion, pageants, college formals, military balls and charity events, and its online catalog leads with an "In Stock Now at Angie's" section broken into long dresses, short dresses and two-piece styles in both lengths. Angie's posts an online sales policy: a staff member reaches out personally before your card is charged, double-checks delivery against your event date and compares your size with the designer's measurements. Web orders are refundable only for a shipping mistake on style, color or size, or a gown that would arrive too late. Website prices match each designer's MSRP, and the 7% Mississippi sales tax is added when the card is charged.
