Salem is a city of 11,915 people, and the high schools around it are smaller than that — Crestview, out on Crestview Road in Columbiana, graduates from a student body of about 340. Two girls in the same gown at the same dance is not a hypothetical in a place that size. Elizabeth Renea’s answers that by registering every prom and homecoming dress it sells against the buyer’s school, so a gown that leaves the shop for one prom does not leave it again for the same one.

Wedding gowns are ordered on a three-to-six-month timeline, but the shop stocks dresses that can be bought off the rack and taken home the same day. Bridal appointments are recommended rather than required. Veterans get 15 percent off, and there are bridal party discounts.
Hours rotate with the season and are worth a phone call before you get in the car. Both the fall and summer schedules the shop has published keep Tuesday and Thursday open until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 4, with additional times by appointment.
