Almost everything in this shop runs on a booked appointment — brides, bridesmaids, mothers of the bride. The store’s own policy is that an appointment is required for anything other than prom dress shopping. So a Tuesday afternoon in November, when nobody is thinking about May yet, is a legitimate way to see the prom racks.
The address is 516 East Main Street, in the borough of Mechanicsburg on the West Shore of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Main Street here is also Trindle Road, which is how a lot of drivers know it. The building is a renovated Victorian house rather than a storefront in a strip; the shop moved into it in January 2008 and says a 2017 remodel more than doubled the space of the original salon. It is still a small operation by its own account — the shop asks bridal groups to cap themselves at three or four guests because seating and fitting-room space are limited. Plan accordingly if the whole friend group wants to come. This is the same stretch of Main Street that shuts down on the third Thursday of June for Jubilee Day, billed as the largest and longest-running one-day street fair on the East Coast.
The schools in range
Mechanicsburg sits in the middle of a dense cluster of high schools, which is unusual for a shop this size — it is not the only option for sixty miles, it is one of several stores serving several thousand juniors and seniors within a fifteen-minute radius.

Cumberland Valley alone graduates classes out of a student body of more than three thousand. At a prom that size, the duplicate-dress question is real, and the shop does not publish a registry policy anywhere on its site. Ask directly whether they track which styles have already gone to your school.
The prom page also lists military balls and galas next to homecoming and prom, which fits a town that hosts Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg and the headquarters of Naval Supply Systems Command.

Prom and homecoming are stocked in sizes 00 through 22. Four labels are confirmed through the brands’ own retailer locators: Clarisse, Dave & Johnny, Jessica Angel and La Femme. Faviana also lists the store on its dealer page. The store publishes wedding gown pricing — roughly $1,000 to $2,200 — but no price range for prom, so treat that as a phone call.
Two things to know before you buy
In-house alterations are limited to wedding gowns bought at the store. For a prom dress, the shop hands out a referral list of local tailors and seamstresses, so budget for a hem somewhere else. And all sales are final: non-bridal merchandise is paid in full at the time of order, with no refunds or exchanges.
Owner Taylor Eisenberger grew up in Mechanicsburg, studied fashion design at Philadelphia University, and states that fittings and alterations are her specialty. The store has displayed regional “Simply the Best” awards on its site for each year from 2018 through 2023.
