Caroline Bandy Walker grew up in Davie County, graduated from Davie County High School in 2017 and from NC State in 2021, where she danced on the NC State Dance Team. Before opening her own store, she worked as a sales associate in formalwear, helping customers pick out exactly the kind of dresses she now stocks. Walk-ins are welcome at Walker Lane, though the store strongly suggests booking for Saturdays during prom season, which it defines as January through April. A booked Saturday slot is the easy way to skip the wait.
