Nouri Formals publishes its store policies, and they are worth knowing before anyone drives over on a Saturday. In-store purchases are final sale. The 24-hour return window the shop describes applies to online orders only, and it returns store credit or an exchange rather than money, with restocking fees of 10 to 20 percent depending on whether the replacement is in stock or has to be special ordered. If a gown is ordered from the manufacturer, it cannot be cancelled once the order goes in. That is a common structure in prom retail, but it is spelled out here in writing, and it means the decision made in the fitting room is the decision.
Three other rules shape a visit:
- Alterations are done in store, but only on dresses bought in store, and not on online orders. The consultation has to happen in person within 24 hours of the purchase, and alterations cost extra.
- Quinceañera gowns carry a non-refundable $50 fitting fee per dress, paid before anything is tried on. It comes off the price if the dress is bought. Prom and homecoming try-ons have no such fee.
- Bridal and bridesmaid shopping is by appointment only, so the shop can staff for it. Prom shopping is walk-in.
Exit 5, and why that matters
The store is in Shackleford Crossings, the open-air center built around the I-430 interchange at Shackleford Road — Exit 5, with a Walmart Supercenter and JCPenney as the anchors on the property. I-630 ties into I-430 a mile north at the cloverstack, and Shackleford Road runs north from the store toward Markham. In practical terms, this is a shop reachable from I-30 and I-40 without ever driving into downtown Little Rock, which is most of the reason a family from Benton, Bryant, Cabot, Conway or Maumelle would pick this exit over Park Plaza in Midtown. Parking is a surface lot shared with the rest of the center, so a fitting trip can be stacked with everything else on the list.
The schools around it
Central Arkansas school geography is being redrawn right around this interchange. The Little Rock School District currently runs two zoned high schools, Central and Southwest — Central enrolled 2,468 students in 2025-26 and Southwest 1,991 — plus Parkview and Hall, which draw from across the city without zones. In August 2026 the board approved a new attendance map ahead of Little Rock West High School opening in fall 2027 on Arkansas 10 next to Pinnacle View Middle School, moving the John Barrow, River Ridge and Robinwood areas into the new West zone. Joe T. Robinson High, in the Pulaski County Special district, sits farther out that same Highway 10 corridor. From 2028 on, three separate Little Rock proms will be buying dresses instead of two, and this store is on the road that connects them.
What is on the racks
Verified through the designers’ own retailer locators, Nouri carries Jovani, Amarra, Faviana, Jasz Couture and Colette by Daphne. The shop’s own site adds Ashley Lauren, Ellie Wilde, Colors Dresses and Mori Lee to the long-gown lineup, and files pageant and prom together under one heading — a fair description of how those lines actually get worn in Arkansas, where the same beaded gown may go to a spring prom and a summer pageant stage. Short dresses are shelved separately for homecoming, and the storefront swings over to homecoming stock in late summer.
The store’s contact page lists hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Several third-party listings still show Sunday closed and an 11 a.m. weekday open, so a phone call before a long drive is the safer move.
