Britt’s at 1007 S Main Street operates as four labels sharing one storefront in Middle Tennessee. Prom and homecoming run under the name House of Britt. Bridal is Brides by Brittney. Menswear is Be Suited by Brittney. The fourth is Britt’s Beauty Bar, and it is the one that makes this shop unusual: owner Brittney is a registered nurse injector and licensed aesthetician, and the beauty bar — HydraFacials, skin treatments, injectables — runs inside the same boutique as the gown racks. The Maury County visitors bureau listing for the store also names tuxedo rental and pageant wear.

The shop’s own prom catalog is filterable by designer, and the names there are Jessica Angel, Alyce Paris, Johnathan Kayne and Sydney’s Prom. Jessica Angel styles on the site are priced from $350 up through the $600s. The size filter on the prom collection runs from 000 through 36, with XXS through XXL as an alternate scale.
One thing worth knowing before the drive: the store says plainly on its prom page that it is showing full designer collections online and that not every gown is in the store. Columbia is the Maury County seat, and this is a county-scale customer base rather than a city one. Maury County Public Schools runs Columbia Central, Mt. Pleasant, Spring Hill and Battle Creek high schools, plus K–12 unit schools at Culleoka, Santa Fe and Hampshire; Zion Christian Academy adds a private PK–12 option in Columbia. Battle Creek, in Spring Hill, opened in 2024 without a full grade span — seniors zoned there kept attending Spring Hill High School while the school phased up to 9–12 by 2026 — so the north end of the county is still sorting out which building its formal-season crowd belongs to.
The nearest comparable racks are north: Spring Hill has its own formalwear shop, and past that the Cool Springs corridor and Nashville, roughly 45 miles up I-65, are where families go for a bigger selection. For anyone in Mt. Pleasant, Culleoka, Santa Fe or Hampshire, South Main in Columbia is the short trip and everything else is a highway drive.

April scheduling note: Mule Day fills Maury County Park April 9–11 in 2026, with the wagon train arriving on the 8th. It is the busiest weekend Columbia has, and a fitting appointment is easier to keep on a different one.
