Siouxland and the Lakes
No corner shows the catalog-versus-floor gap more clearly. Sioux City has the biggest posted ranges and some of the smallest sample runs. Sioux Center goes the other way: a single-piece gown is a fit-it-now decision. Up at the lakes, Elegance pairs its 00 to 32 claim with an assistant manager who says plus-size shoppers are her favorite part of the job.
North Iowa
Size for size, this is the strongest region for trying on rather than ordering. Two shops publish floor runs past the mid-20s. Families from Clear Lake and Osage already make the Mason City drive, and Bliss gives them something rare at the end of it: a 000 and a 30 on the same racks, fitted down the hall.
The Des Moines metro and Warren County
The metro wins on volume. Its published floor sizes are thinner. Only Affinity names a top size, and it says the rack shows one sample per style. Use GLAM's in-stock filter before driving over, and ask Stacey's which extended sizes are in the building that week.
Cedar Rapids and the Corridor
Deep racks, thin size data. None of the three posts a floor size range, so a call or text about a specific size saves the drive. Dream Dress rewards a January or February visit.

Sarah's is the reason families from Burlington and Fairfield cross a county or two. It states both numbers, floor and order, which few others do.
The southwest corner
