The prom labels at Punk & Boone sit on a formals rack, not a prom floor

A by-appointment bridal salon on Ritchie Highway where the Mac Duggal and Alyce Paris formals are made to order and priced roughly $400 to $1,200.

Est. 2024

Punk & Boone Bridal is a wedding-gown salon in Park Plaza on Governor Ritchie Highway, suite E, and it is bridal first. The two names a prom shopper in Anne Arundel County would recognize — Mac Duggal and Alyce Paris — are stocked here, but the shop keeps them in its mothers-and-formals collection, which its own site prices at $400 to $1,200 and describes as designer gowns made to order.

Know that before driving over. Made to order means the gown is cut after the order is placed, so a March appointment for an April prom does not work the way it would at a store with a back room full of sample sizes. And $400 is the floor. Bridal gowns here run $1,800 to $6,000, which tells you what kind of room you are walking into.

No walk-ins, closed Mondays

Everything is by appointment, Tuesday through Sunday. You cannot stop in after school and flip through racks. Appointments go through the booking form on the store’s site or by phone at (410) 226-6351. What you get instead is a private fitting with someone paying attention to one customer at a time, which is the trade the business is built on.

Who opened it

Logan Burnett owns the store and is the “Punk” in the name — a nickname her parents gave her as a kid. She grew up in Maryland, studied visual merchandising at the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in New York, and decided on a salon of her own around the time of her 2022 wedding. The Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce held the ribbon-cutting on May 4, 2024, and its newsletter put the crowd at more than 100 people.

The schools in range

Severna Park High School is in the same town, on Robinson Road off Ritchie Highway, with roughly 1,870 students and a standing rivalry with Broadneck. Severn School, the independent day school on Water Street, adds about 900 more in grades six through twelve. Ritchie Highway does the rest of the work: Chesapeake and Northeast in Pasadena to the north, Old Mill in Millersville to the west, Broadneck and the Annapolis schools to the south. For most of that arc, this is a stop on a road they already drive.

Whether it fits you

This is the right store if you want one designer gown, ordered months ahead, tried on in a quiet room with an appointment on the calendar. It is the wrong store if you need something this weekend, if you want to see two hundred dresses in an afternoon, or if your budget tops out under $300. Those are real needs; they are just not what this address is set up for.
