This store recently expanded into a storefront roughly 40 percent larger than the one it had been occupying at The Shops at Wiregrass, according to the Wesley Chapel Community Website’s rundown of new and expanded tenants at the center. The store’s own announcement of the move described a larger showroom with private fitting suites and separate areas for prom, bridal, quinceañera and mother-of-the-wedding gowns. That is the single most useful fact about shopping here: prom is not a rack squeezed in behind the wedding dresses.
The expansion tracks with what is happening around it. Census figures put Pasco County’s growth at more than 15 percent over five years, with the county at roughly 682,000 people, and Wesley Chapel has grown several times over since the early 2000s as State Road 56 widened and the Overpass Road interchange opened. A formalwear store getting more square footage in the middle of that is a store betting on more graduating classes, not fewer.
The address, and how the trip actually goes
Suite 150 sits inside The Shops at Wiregrass, the open-air center at Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and State Road 56, a minute off I-75. Wiregrass opened in 2008, is anchored by Macy’s, JCPenney and Dillard’s, and now lists more than 100 stores and restaurants; the center bills itself as the “downtown” of Wesley Chapel, which is close to how people use it. Parking is free surface lots plus metered street spaces along Paseo Drive, so the walk from the car is short and the dress does not have to cross a parking deck.
Hours are worth planning around. The Wesley Chapel store lists 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, described on its own site as based on availability — meaning a call before driving over is the right move, especially in February and March. The 8 p.m. close is the part that matters for a family fitting a dress trip in after practice or a shift. Nikki’s other store, on US 19 North in Palm Harbor, keeps different and shorter hours and is closed Tuesdays and Sundays, so the Wesley Chapel location is the more flexible of the two.

Wiregrass Ranch High School shares the name and the development with the mall; its 2024–25 enrollment was 2,218. Cypress Creek High on Old Pasco Road and Wesley Chapel High on Wells Road pull from the rest of the area, with Kirkland Ranch Academy of Innovation on Innovation Drive newer to the mix and Zephyrhills High farther east. The store also names New Tampa, Lutz, Land O’ Lakes and Zephyrhills as the towns it draws from, which matches the shape of the drive: everything funnels to SR 56.
One local wrinkle: the Wiregrass Ranch class of 2026 senior timeline states that seniors must be eligible for the school’s On-Track Bulls Pride Band to attend homecoming, prom or Grad Bash. Eligibility gets settled at school, not at the dress shop, but it is the kind of thing that changes whether a gown gets bought in January or April.
