Nikki's Glitz and Glam has kept a store at The Shops at Wiregrass for years. When the Tampa Bay Times listed nine local prom shops in March 2019, it already gave two addresses for Nikki's, one on US 19 in Palm Harbor and one at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. The company dates itself to 2011. It describes its whole business as "BRIDAL, PROM, HOMECOMING, PAGEANT, FORMALWEAR & TUXEDO HEADQUARTERS," and it has been growing the Wesley Chapel store.
A larger Wiregrass showroom, announced for spring 2026
In a January 19, 2026, blog post, the store announced a new, larger location at The Shops at Wiregrass, opening in spring 2026. The post promised a much larger showroom, private bridal and formalwear fitting suites, and dedicated areas for prom, quinceañera, bridal and mothers' dresses. It also promised more designers, more sizes and more styles than before. The store's listed address remains 28329 Paseo Drive, so check the location when you book.
The same post lists the towns the store means to serve: Wesley Chapel, New Tampa, Lutz, Land O' Lakes, Zephyrhills and other parts of the Tampa area. How the prom appointments work in Wesley Chapel
Prom and homecoming are the exception to the store's appointment rule. A banner across the site says homecoming appointments are highly recommended but not required, while all other shopping requires one. The appointment page puts prom in the same group. It promises "the largest selection of prom and homecoming dresses in the Tampa Bay Area," a stylist assigned to you, and sizes from 000 to 24.
The booking rules are specific. Each appointment covers one customer and one dedicated stylist, so if two friends both plan to try on, each books her own slot. Friends who only came to help do not need an appointment, but space is tight, and the store recommends bringing no more than two. Online booking covers bridal, prom and mothers' visits. Other appointment types are booked by phone.

Prom and homecoming sizes
The Wesley Chapel store is open every day: 11 to 8 Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 on Sunday. That is the easier calendar for after-school and weekend shopping, since the Palm Harbor store closes on Tuesdays and Sundays.
Prom houses, homecoming numbers and a Jovani claim
The prom menu lists nine houses: Jovani, Ellie Wilde, Ashley Lauren, Ava Presley, Primavera Couture, Portia & Scarlett, Johnathan Kayne, Alyce Paris and Sophia Thomas. In January 2026 the blog walked through the new prom lines from six of them: Sophia Thomas, Jovani, Portia & Scarlett, Ava Presley, Ashley Lauren and Ellie Wilde. The company's About page goes further back and names Sherri Hill, La Femme, Rachel Allan, Blush, Dave & Johnny, Scala and Terani, and the online prom catalog also carries Sydney's Closet styles.
Homecoming is a big catalog of its own. On October 22, 2026, the homecoming collection online showed 3,043 styles. Ashley Lauren had 514, Primavera Couture 479, Jovani 473, Sophia Thomas 454 and Johnathan Kayne 428. Those are catalog listings across the designers' lines, so ask what the Wesley Chapel racks hold.
The About page also makes a bold claim, that Nikki's is "the only Florida store to have Jovani Platinum gowns." And it says every dress sold is registered, court gowns for homecoming included, which helps keep two girls from one school out of the same dress.
Prices, the MSRP rule and the November sale
The store's terms explain why online prices look the way they do. Prices on the website are the designer's suggested retail price, and the designers do not allow their styles to be shown online for less. The terms go on to say that a much lower price elsewhere for the same style is a sign of counterfeit gowns. In-store prices are not necessarily the same as online ones, and a tariff note on the product pages says the same thing, so ask for the store price.
The best price window on the calendar is Black Friday weekend. The events page advertises a Quince & Prom Sale from November 27 to 29, 2026, at both locations, with select prom dresses from $99 and quinceañera gowns from $399. October 2026 also brought a quinceañera sale, with select off-the-rack quince dresses from $499.
The store's appointment page says the Wesley Chapel location has expanded its quinceañera collection, with designers from Mon Cheri to Sophia Thomas Designs. Pageant shoppers get Ashley Lauren, Ava Presley, Jovani and Johnathan Kayne, and students can apply to the Glamour Girls ambassador program, whose members model at the Homecoming Kick Off Party and the Prom Trunk Show.
