The directory listing says Bebes Boutique. The sign at 311 S. Park Ave. says Bebe’s and Liz’s, and that is the name to search for and the name to use on the phone. It is one of the older independent storefronts on the Park Avenue shopping strip in Winter Park, and its main business is children’s and women’s clothing. The prom side of it is real but secondary: Central Florida shoppers will find it categorized under prom, homecoming and pageant dresses alongside baby clothes and christening-weight children’s wear.
Two prom labels are confirmed here through the designers’ own retailer locators: Alyce Paris and Clarisse. That is a narrow, specific selection, and it is worth knowing what that means before making the drive. If the goal is to work through several hundred gowns in one afternoon, the store to beat is So Sweet Boutique at 1665 Oviedo Mall Blvd. in Oviedo, roughly a half-hour east, which carries both of those labels among dozens of others and advertises thousands of dresses in stock. The reason to come to Park Avenue instead is the opposite of volume: a small floor, an owner who styles people herself, and no warehouse to get lost in.
That owner is Liz Sheppard. Business-network listings from other Park Avenue merchants describe her as having sold children’s clothing on the Avenue since the early 1980s and adding the evening gown side later, which would make this one of the longest-running retail tenancies on the street. Customer reviews mention pageant fittings specifically, including one shopper sent home with a dress for a Disney-themed competition, so the pageant end of Central Florida formalwear is part of the trade here and not an afterthought.

Getting there is a Park Avenue trip, not a mall trip. The street runs more than 140 boutiques and cafes along the oak-shaded edge of Central Park, with Rollins College at the south end. Street parking has traditionally been free and is chronically tight; the city spent 2026 studying a new multi-story garage near City Hall specifically because of the crunch. Park once, walk the block, and plan on eating there.
The feeder school is Winter Park High, 3,369 students at 2100 Summerfield Road, about ten minutes northeast. Its 2025 prom ran on March 29 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, which is a useful marker for how the Orlando-area calendar works: proms land in late March and April, so the real shopping window opens in January and closes fast. Rollins students walking down from campus for formals are the other steady piece of the gown business.

Its Facebook page shows 349 reviews with 94 percent recommending it, while its much smaller Yelp file, 35 reviews, splits between shoppers who praise the one-on-one attention and shoppers who found the reception cool and the prices high for children’s wear.
